IUSD uses two GPA scales. The table below shows how each letter grade translates into grade points depending on the course type. Unweighted GPA treats every course the same (Regular column). Weighted GPA gives AP and designated Honors courses a one-point boost—but note that only some Honors courses are weighted; confirm with your counselor.
